Before 2015 this would not have been a problem as most cars were supplied with a spare wheel and the tools to enable you to change the wheel, allowing you to continue with your journey once you had achieved this.
2015 brought a change to all this when manufactures chose to leave out the spare wheel and tools.

From 2015 we noticed vehicles were being supplied without a spare wheel of any kind, in its place is a compressor and foam repair kit. The main reasons for this are simple manufactures are saving money, along with the increasing demand for lesser emission cars & SUV’S, unfortunately among thefirst casualty’s is the spare wheel. This has become a massive problem for owners of new cars as many don’t know until it is too late.
The compressor kit which has replaced the spare wheel is only effective on holes no bigger than a couple of millimeters and with sidewall damage these are ineffective. We are seeing more customers being brought to us on recovery trucks just because they have a flat tyre, cost’s that could be avoided if they were to have had a spare wheel.
Monitoring this situation, we knew there was an opportunity to supply a spare wheel kit, we also knew this needed to be a good quality load rated wheel fitted with a good quality tyre, this we have achieved. The kit we have produced is called the K.O.M short for “Keep On Moving” covering over 600 different vehicles and combinations.

K.O.M space saver spare wheel and tyre kits are an Italian made aluminium wheel fitted with either Uniroyal or Continental tyres however this will depend on application. But don’t worry if your kit has not got a Continental tyre fitted as Uniroyal is made by Continental using the very same technology which ensures quality. Accompanying the 4" wide wheel and tyres will be a 1.5 / 2 Ton Jack, Wheel Brace, bolts/nuts if needed and a Tidy Bag which will keep this neat and tidy when in the boot. The K.O.M Kit will be delivered in one box ready to be used when needed.
